KRW Accountants was created to break the mould of established accountancy practices.
Since we first opened the doors in 2009 we’ve provided business owners with friendly and headache free accounting and tax compliance, through a fixed fee service which included access to advice whenever needed, all with a passion for saving tax.
Those core values still hold true today and are at the heart of everything we do, while further services have been added along the way including advice to help businesses streamline their accounting processes using online software solutions delivered by a switched on and forward thinking team, and pre-year-end tax planning meetings which many of our clients find invaluable.

Our team
Keith Witchell
Keith is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser, plus also our RI for audit work. He’s worked in the profession for 25 years, and his drive and ambition to build a practice which really adds value to its clients is relentless.
Keith loves coming up with tax saving ideas to help our clients, many of which go into our Tax Bulletin newsletter.
Outside of work Keith loves family holidays, skiing, and he’s also a keen petrolhead (aka ‘car bore’).
Alex Beattie
Alex started his accounting career in 2005, and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2012. He became a Director of the firm in 2015 and our Managing Director in 2019.
Alex is a natural team leader and motivator while also being a real advocate for cloud software and helping clients to really streamline their admin functions.
Away from the office Alex is an avid Spurs fan, loves keeping fit, and spending quality time with his young family.
Sandra Franklin
Sandra has been our Practice Manager since the very beginning and has helped us to develop all of our systems and processes to underpin the firm’s growth from just 3 of us in 2009 to a team of 20+ today.
Sandra’s enthusiasm for giving great customer service and the pride she takes in everything she does is infectious and her organisational skills are second to none.
Outside of work Sandra enjoys socialising, skiing and holidays, plus spending time with her family.
Mollie Marshall
Mollie joined KRW in September 2014, and immediately felt part of the team. Having completed her AAT qualification, Mollie then breezed through her ACA qualification to become a Chartered Accountant. As well as assisting clients with all their accounting and tax needs, Mollie also works closely with our Practice Manager to ensure KRW runs smoothly and that all our clients are being looked after.
With football engrained in her family, in her spare time Mollie enjoys supporting her local teams. Mollie also enjoys spending time in the kitchen baking cakes, and we love being her guinea pigs when she tries new recipes!
Laura Franklin
Laura rejoined KRW in 2023 having previously done a seven year stint with the company. After gaining more experience at another practice, Laura returned in a more senior role to help manage the business, and help the directors review accounts and tax returns.
Laura epitomises what KRW is all about, with her relentless work ethic and desire to ensure the client gets the best service possible. Laura is ACCA qualified, and has over ten years experience in the industry.
In her spare time, Laura loves an adventure. If she is not wild swimming, she is climbing a mountain and pushing herself to her limits!
Alice Burt
Alice joined the KRW team with a strong background in administration, processes, social media, and marketing. Now supporting the business in all things digital, Alice plays an integral role in implementing software solutions and improving internal systems. As PA to the directors and leader of our Xero training for clients, she combines organisational expertise with a hands-on approach to client support, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
Outside of work, Alice enjoys spending time with her family and going on long walks with her little dog, Juno.
Kirsten Joscelyne
Kirsten is ACCA qualified and has worked in the profession for over 25 years, with time spent at KPMG as well as other independent accountancy firms.
Kirsten manages the firm’s audit assignments and puts her experience to great use by taking responsibility for quality control and other practice assurance tasks.
Away from the office Kirsten enjoys spending time with her twin girls, and family holidays.
Laura West
Laura joined KRW with over a decade of experience in the industry having worked at similar size practices throughout her career, and she is AAT level 3 qualified.
Laura enjoys working closely with clients to ensure she provides the best service possible, and creates a great working relationship with all her clients. Laura can turn her hand to anything bookkeeping related, and really enjoys tidying up her clients’ books!
In her spare time Laura enjoys spending time with her family.
Rachael Devoil
Rachael heads up our payroll department, and has over 15 years in the payroll, both in practice and in-house, so she has a great depth of knowledge to offer our clients with all things payroll related. Rachael is Level 2 CIPP qualified, and is looking to progress onto complete Level 3 in the future.
In her spare time, Rachael enjoys travelling with her partner and spending time with her friends and family.
David White
With nearly 20 years in the industry, David joined KRW in 2020 with a fantastic amount of experience. Having worked in a similar size practice prior to KRW, his experience is very relevant to be able to assist our clients with all their accounting and tax needs.
David is an all round sportsman as well. He enjoys playing cricket and golf, and supporting his favourite football team West Ham.
Lauren Ayris
Lauren joined KRW in 2021 as a Client Manager and has gone from strength to strength supporting our clients and team. She’s now a Senior Client Manager and has stepped into the role of heading up our Virtual FD department providing small to medium businesses with part time Finance Director assistance.
In Lauren's spare time she enjoys playing netball, cooking (and eating!), and scrolling through Pinterest for interior design ideas!
Annette Smyth
Annette joined KRW in 2024 and brought a wealth of experience with her. Holding both the ACCA and ATT qualifications, Annette is well rounded on both the accounts and taxation side of things, and she has a real interest in international tax for individuals.
Away from the office, Annette is a keen runner, having completed multiple ultra marathons, and often volunteers at local running events and supports beginners with their running too.
Lucy Underwood
Lucy joined the team in 2023 and came with 14 years worth of experience in the industry. Lucy is ACCA qualified and has a real desire to deliver a professional and personable service to all our clients. Lucy helps our clients with all their statutory compliance such as accounts and tax returns, but really comes into her own when she works directly with the client and helps them with their day-to-day queries.
In her spare time, Lucy enjoys spending time with her children, and sailing with her family.
Charlie Alvarez
Charlie joined KRW in 2022 after achieving a first in his Business with Accounting degree at Northampton University. Charlie joined us with a real appetite to learn about tax, and is studying towards his ACCA qualification. His role mainly includes preparing accounts and tax returns for our clients, and also provides support to our bookkeeping team.
In his spare time, Charlie likes to play Robin Hood and is a keen archer. Charlie represented Northampton University, and also finished 9th in the National competition. He is also a member of his local club Towcester Archers.
James Wagle
James joined our team in February 2024. James is studying towards his AAT qualification, but he is setting his sights on becoming chartered at the earliest opportunity, as he has a great thirst to develop and improve all the time. James’ friendly and professional approach, allows him to build a good rapport with clients, and he take great pride in providing a high level of service.
In his spare time, James enjoying following Formula One, as well as travelling when he gets the chance.
Natalie Holden
Natalie joined KRW on an apprenticeship scheme studying towards her ACCA qualification. Having previously graduating from her Law degree, she transferred her skills to the accounting industry where she has specialised in agricultural businesses in the past.
When Natalie isn’t studying or working, she enjoys keeping fit in the gym, and has taken up running too!
Lynsey Hudson
Lynsey is very well rounded bookkeeper having worked in practice for many years. Lynsey previously worked more on the accounts and tax side of things, and is ACCA qualified. This has allowed Lynsey to see the full picture of what we are aiming for when providing a service to our clients from start to finish.
In her spare time, Lynsey enjoys spending time with her children, and is now able to recite any Disney film word for word!
Tom Joyce
Tom has over 10 years of experience in the accountancy profession and is currently studying towards the ACCA qualification, with just three exams left to complete. With a strong foundation in accounting and a commitment to continued professional development, Tom brings both expertise and enthusiasm to the team.
Outside of work, Tom enjoys staying active, is a football enthusiast, and proudly supports QPR.
Alex Clarke
Alex is MAAT qualified and currently working towards the ACCA qualification, with five exams remaining. With seven years of experience in practice, Alex has built a solid foundation in accountancy and is committed to ongoing professional development, bringing both knowledge and dedication to the team.
Outside of work, Alex is a football fan and proud Spurs supporter. He enjoys keeping active at the gym, as well as unwinding with trips to the cinema and catching up on the latest TV shows.
Hattie Griffith
Hattie is an MAAT-qualified accountant with 18 years of practice experience, supporting businesses and individuals with their accounts, tax and business affairs. Having previously spent several years working with agricultural clients, she now works across a wide range of industries, helping clients with practical advice and straightforward solutions. Known for her approachable manner and attention to detail, Hattie provides proactive, reliable support throughout the year.
Outside of work, Hattie enjoys following sport, travelling to new places, and spending time with friends and family.
Josh Thomas
Josh is a MAAT-qualified accountant who is well on his way to becoming fully qualified, with just six ACCA exams remaining. Detail-driven, motivated, and committed to his professional development, he brings a strong technical foundation to the team and is steadily building his expertise across a wide range of accounting and finance work.
Outside of the office, Josh enjoys exploring fine dining experiences and keeping up with major sporting events, especially cricket, Formula 1, and football. He’s also an active hockey player!
Remi Farrugia
Remi has built a solid foundation in finance, having gained 5-6 years of experience across various areas within the field. Currently studying ACCA after achieving AAT qualification, Remi is committed to enhancing expertise and delivering exceptional service to clients.
In her free time, Remi enjoys exploring new places on days out, reading, walking the dog, and cooking delicious meals. She also cherishes spending quality time with friends and family, making every moment count.
Lewis Bethell
Lewis joined KRW as an apprentice straight from leaving school at Silverstone UTC. Lewis has demonstrate a real passion for business and accounting, with work experience in the past and has a personable character that helps him forge good relationships very quickly. Lewis will be studying towards his AAT qualification, and has aspirations to be chartered one day too.
In his spare time, Lewis has a ‘need for speed’, and is a bit of a thrill seeker. This lends itself well to with his motocross, where he has excelled and competes at a semi-professional level.
George Marlow
George is a MAAT-qualified accountant, having completed AAT Levels 3 and 4, and is currently entering his final year of a BSc in Accounting and Finance at University.
After impressing the team during his work experience placement, George was offered a permanent role, and now combines his studies with hands-on experience in practice.
Dedicated to building a strong career in accountancy, George brings energy, curiosity, and a willingness to learn to everything he does.
Outside of work and study, George is an active member of the Young Farmers community. He enjoys getting stuck into all things mechanical—especially Land Rovers and motorbikes.
Claire Paul
Claire is FMAAT-qualified with more than 14 years of experience in accountancy, She has spent the last eight years specialising in personal tax and sole trader clients, following the completion of her ATT qualification.
Outside of work, Claire enjoys walking the dog or training at the gym. Never one to shy away from a challenge, she's often signing up for something new — whether it’s Hyrox, an obstacle course race, or climbing a mountain (or three!).
Lewis Barclay
Lewis is currently close to completing his AAT qualification and is looking forward to progressing onto ACCA, with the aim of becoming fully qualified within the next three years. With a strong commitment to developing his knowledge and skills within accountancy, Lewis is focused on continuing his professional growth and gaining valuable experience along the way.

Adrienne joined KRW in 2024. Having previously worked in the motor industry, we identified a lot of transferable skills that Adrienne possessed that would see her excel at KRW, and we were immediately proven right. Adrienne is able to support our clients on all things payroll related, and she has a great ability to understand what the client expects from the service which has helped her build a great rapport with our clients. Outside of the office, Adrienne enjoys dog walks, outdoor adventures, and can be spotted up the allotment from time-to-time!
Ashley Samsa
Ashley joined our team in 2024, having come highly recommended from other members of the team that had worked with her at a previous practice, and it was quick to see why. She’s great! With her AAT Level 3 qualification under her belt, Ashley is well placed to support our clients on all things bookkeeping related, and she does it all with a smile on her face. Any business is better with an ‘Ashley’ in it. Away from the office, Ashley enjoys running and yoga, as well as travelling and eating out.
Susie Geddes
Susie joined us following a recommendation from another member of staff, and she has vindicated that referral from day one. Susie is diligent, professional, but friendly and personable with it. Studying towards her Level 3 of AAT, and over eight years working in practice, Susie is experienced and skilled enough to support clients with all their bookkeeping needs.
Away from the office, Susie spends time with her horses and competes in the dressage discipline. Fingers crossed for Los Angeles 2028…..

Tammy is MAAT qualified with over 10 years’ experience across both practice and industry. As a skilled and detail-driven bookkeeper, she takes pride in helping clients keep their finances organised and their businesses running smoothly. With over 14 years of experience in payroll, Naomi is CIPP qualified and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team. Having worked across both industry and practice, with a stronger focus on practice-based payroll, Naomi has developed a well-rounded understanding of payroll processes and client support.

Eliza Marshall
Eliza is our front of house, and she will be the welcoming face that joins you when you come to The Mill. With a background in retail, Eliza understands the importance of customer service, and she will ensure all your needs are met when you call up or pop into the office.
As well as doing the ‘meeting and greeting’, Eliza takes care of onboarding all our new clients, so if you are new to KRW you will be hearing from her a lot! She will also ensure all your records are maintained both internally with KRW, and externally with HM Revenue and Customs.
Away from the office, Eliza enjoys her sport and helps coach a local girls football team.
Elizabeth Chartres
Elizabeth holds a BA in History and International Relations from Oxford Brookes University. With a keen interest in the inner workings of practice operations, Elizabeth brings strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to supporting both clients and colleagues alike.
Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys rock climbing, going to the cinema, and attending music festivals—always on the lookout for new adventures and great live acts.

Emma brings a strong administrative background and five years of dedicated company secretarial experience to her role as Company Secretarial Manager. Ben Foster
Ben is particularly interested in helping entrepreneurs in all aspects of business and personal finance. He likes working with entrepreneurs as the business finances have a large impact on the personal finances and the planning aspect has to take this into account.
Ben also keeps fit by playing squash and would love to travel the world following the Formula 1 for a season.
Alan Tytherleigh
Originally from South Africa, Alan is kept very busy with two young children. Having previously worked as a stockbroker as well as having held roles within corporate divisions of international banks, he uses his knowledge to help clients achieve and maintain their financial freedom.
He enjoys working with both business owners and clients in or close to retirement. Specifically, helping them to reach a state of what he terms - “Structural Retirement.” This is the point where the financial means become available allowing one’s focus to change from trying to accumulate wealth to where one is able to focus on enjoying their main passions while knowing that the fundamentals are all taken care of.

Alex Clarke
Alex is MAAT qualified and currently working towards the ACCA qualification, with five exams remaining. With seven years of experience in practice, Alex has built a solid foundation in accountancy and is committed to ongoing professional development, bringing both knowledge and dedication to the team.
Outside of work, Alex is a football fan and proud Spurs supporter. He enjoys keeping active at the gym, as well as unwinding with trips to the cinema and catching up on the latest TV shows.
Tom Joyce
Tom has over 10 years of experience in the accountancy profession and is currently studying towards the ACCA qualification, with just three exams left to complete. With a strong foundation in accounting and a commitment to continued professional development, Tom brings both expertise and enthusiasm to the team.
Outside of work, Tom enjoys staying active, is a football enthusiast, and proudly supports QPR.
Hattie Griffith
Hattie is an MAAT-qualified accountant with 18 years of practice experience, supporting businesses and individuals with their accounts, tax and business affairs. Having previously spent several years working with agricultural clients, she now works across a wide range of industries, helping clients with practical advice and straightforward solutions. Known for her approachable manner and attention to detail, Hattie provides proactive, reliable support throughout the year.
Outside of work, Hattie enjoys following sport, travelling to new places, and spending time with friends and family.
Josh Thomas
Josh is a MAAT-qualified accountant who is well on his way to becoming fully qualified, with just six ACCA exams remaining. Detail-driven, motivated, and committed to his professional development, he brings a strong technical foundation to the team and is steadily building his expertise across a wide range of accounting and finance work.
Outside of the office, Josh enjoys exploring fine dining experiences and keeping up with major sporting events, especially cricket, Formula 1, and football. He’s also an active hockey player!
Remi Farrugia
Remi has built a solid foundation in finance, having gained 5-6 years of experience across various areas within the field. Currently studying ACCA after achieving AAT qualification, Remi is committed to enhancing expertise and delivering exceptional service to clients.
In her free time, Remi enjoys exploring new places on days out, reading, walking the dog, and cooking delicious meals. She also cherishes spending quality time with friends and family, making every moment count.
Lewis Bethell
Lewis joined KRW as an apprentice straight from leaving school at Silverstone UTC. Lewis has demonstrate a real passion for business and accounting, with work experience in the past and has a personable character that helps him forge good relationships very quickly. Lewis will be studying towards his AAT qualification, and has aspirations to be chartered one day too.
In his spare time, Lewis has a ‘need for speed’, and is a bit of a thrill seeker. This lends itself well to with his motocross, where he has excelled and competes at a semi-professional level.
George Marlow
George is a MAAT-qualified accountant, having completed AAT Levels 3 and 4, and is currently entering his final year of a BSc in Accounting and Finance at University.
After impressing the team during his work experience placement, George was offered a permanent role, and now combines his studies with hands-on experience in practice.
Dedicated to building a strong career in accountancy, George brings energy, curiosity, and a willingness to learn to everything he does.
Outside of work and study, George is an active member of the Young Farmers community. He enjoys getting stuck into all things mechanical—especially Land Rovers and motorbikes.
Claire Paul
Claire is FMAAT-qualified with more than 14 years of experience in accountancy, She has spent the last eight years specialising in personal tax and sole trader clients, following the completion of her ATT qualification.
Outside of work, Claire enjoys walking the dog or training at the gym. Never one to shy away from a challenge, she's often signing up for something new — whether it’s Hyrox, an obstacle course race, or climbing a mountain (or three!).
Lewis Barclay
Lewis is currently close to completing his AAT qualification and is looking forward to progressing onto ACCA, with the aim of becoming fully qualified within the next three years. With a strong commitment to developing his knowledge and skills within accountancy, Lewis is focused on continuing his professional growth and gaining valuable experience along the way.
Outside of work, Lewis enjoys gaming, socialising with friends, and keeping active through the gym. Much of his spare time is dedicated to studying and working towards his professional qualifications.
Laura West
Laura joined KRW with over a decade of experience in the industry having worked at similar size practices throughout her career, and she is AAT level 3 qualified.
Laura enjoys working closely with clients to ensure she provides the best service possible, and creates a great working relationship with all her clients. Laura can turn her hand to anything bookkeeping related, and really enjoys tidying up her clients’ books!
In her spare time Laura enjoys spending time with her family.
Adrienne White
Adrienne joined KRW in 2024. Having previously worked in the motor industry, we identified a lot of transferable skills that Adrienne possessed that would see her excel at KRW, and we were immediately proven right. Adrienne is able to support our clients on all things payroll related, and she has a great ability to understand what the client expects from the service which has helped her build a great rapport with our clients. Outside of the office, Adrienne enjoys dog walks, outdoor adventures, and can be spotted up the allotment from time-to-time!
Ashley Samsa
Ashley joined our team in 2024, having come highly recommended from other members of the team that had worked with her at a previous practice, and it was quick to see why. She’s great! With her AAT Level 3 qualification under her belt, Ashley is well placed to support our clients on all things bookkeeping related, and she does it all with a smile on her face. Any business is better with an ‘Ashley’ in it. Away from the office, Ashley enjoys running and yoga, as well as travelling and eating out.
Susie Geddes
Susie joined us following a recommendation from another member of staff, and she has vindicated that referral from day one. Susie is diligent, professional, but friendly and personable with it. Studying towards her Level 3 of AAT, and over eight years working in practice, Susie is experienced and skilled enough to support clients with all their bookkeeping needs.
Away from the office, Susie spends time with her horses and competes in the dressage discipline. Fingers crossed for Los Angeles 2028…..
Laura Savory
Laura brings a strong foundation in bookkeeping, currently level 4 MAAT qualified with plans to pursue ACCA next. With her growing expertise, she is dedicated to providing excellent service to our clients and continues to develop her skills within the industry.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys staying active with fitness, relaxing with hobbies like jigsaws and cross-stitch, and is an avid gamer. She also loves spending time with her cats, adding some extra joy to her life!
Tammy Jones
Tammy is MAAT qualified with over 10 years’ experience across both practice and industry. As a skilled and detail-driven bookkeeper, she takes pride in helping clients keep their finances organised and their businesses running smoothly. Tammy enjoys building lasting relationships and delivering practical support that makes a real difference.
When she’s not working or running after her three teenage daughters, she loves spending time horse riding and catching up with friends.
Denisa Burca
Denisa is an experienced Bookkeeper with nine years in the profession and AAT Level 3 qualification. Known for her accuracy, reliability, and calm approach, she brings a wealth of hands-on bookkeeping knowledge to the team and is dedicated to supporting clients with clear, well-organised financial records.
Outside of work, Denisa loves spending time with friends and family, often hosting or getting involved in social get-togethers. She enjoys walking, and cooking.

Rachael Devoil
Rachael heads up our payroll department, and has over 15 years in the payroll, both in practice and in-house, so she has a great depth of knowledge to offer our clients with all things payroll related. Rachael is Level 2 CIPP qualified, and is looking to progress onto complete Level 3 in the future.
In her spare time, Rachael enjoys travelling with her partner and spending time with her friends and family.
Denise Murphy
Denise brings over 30 years of experience from her career in industry, followed by more than 9 years in professional practice before joining KRW. Her broad knowledge and expertise, developed across both sectors, give her a strong foundation for supporting clients and colleagues in her role.
Outside of work, Denise enjoys spending time outdoors, whether gardening, walking, or simply appreciating nature. She also has a passion for cooking and baking, she loves sharing good food and quality time with family and friends.
Naomi Higgs
With over 14 years of experience in payroll, Naomi is CIPP qualified and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team. Having worked across both industry and practice, with a stronger focus on practice-based payroll, Naomi has developed a well-rounded understanding of payroll processes and client support.
Outside of work, Naomp enjoys spending time outdoors on long walks and making the most of live music events and concerts.

Eliza Marshall
Eliza is our front of house, and she will be the welcoming face that joins you when you come to The Mill. With a background in retail, Eliza understands the importance of customer service, and she will ensure all your needs are met when you call up or pop into the office.
As well as doing the ‘meeting and greeting’, Eliza takes care of onboarding all our new clients, so if you are new to KRW you will be hearing from her a lot! She will also ensure all your records are maintained both internally with KRW, and externally with HM Revenue and Customs.
Away from the office, Eliza enjoys her sport and helps coach a local girls football team.
Elizabeth Chartres
Elizabeth holds a BA in History and International Relations from Oxford Brookes University. With a keen interest in the inner workings of practice operations, Elizabeth brings strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to supporting both clients and colleagues alike.
Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys rock climbing, going to the cinema, and attending music festivals—always on the lookout for new adventures and great live acts.
Emma Turner
Emma brings a strong administrative background and five years of dedicated company secretarial experience to her role as Company Secretarial Manager. Known for her organisation, precision, and calm approach, she plays a key part in ensuring clients remain compliant and supported across all their statutory and governance requirements.
Away from work, Emma is very much a homebody and enjoys spending her spare time relaxing with a good book, getting stuck into a jigsaw puzzle, or watching her favourite TV shows and films.
Alice Burt
Alice joined the KRW team with a strong background in administration, processes, social media, and marketing. Now supporting the business in all things digital, Alice plays an integral role in implementing software solutions and improving internal systems. As PA to the directors and leader of our Xero training for clients, she combines organisational expertise with a hands-on approach to client support, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
Outside of work, Alice enjoys spending time with her family and going on long walks with her little dog, Juno.
Ben Foster
Ben is particularly interested in helping entrepreneurs in all aspects of business and personal finance. He likes working with entrepreneurs as the business finances have a large impact on the personal finances and the planning aspect has to take this into account.
Ben also keeps fit by playing squash and would love to travel the world following the Formula 1 for a season.
Alan Tytherleigh
Originally from South Africa, Alan is kept very busy with two young children. Having previously worked as a stockbroker as well as having held roles within corporate divisions of international banks, he uses his knowledge to help clients achieve and maintain their financial freedom.
He enjoys working with both business owners and clients in or close to retirement. Specifically, helping them to reach a state of what he terms - “Structural Retirement.” This is the point where the financial means become available allowing one’s focus to change from trying to accumulate wealth to where one is able to focus on enjoying their main passions while knowing that the fundamentals are all taken care of.
Alan keeps fit by playing squash and would love to build his own house in a field someday.
