KRW's got more talent: Introducing Callum, Anna & Jessica
Due to continued growth, and to ensure that we continue to give the best possible service to our clients, we’ve been on the lookout for new talent to join the team.
We’ve had some changes to our team over the past few months and wanted to bring you up to speed with the new and improved KRW team.
Out with the old: Two of our accounts seniors, Jo Carrara and Felicity Lynes, have left us in the past few months. Jo decided to change career and joined Xero as a software support adviser, and then Felicity left us to pursue a career in industry (rather than practice). We were sad to see them go and wish them both well for the future.
In with the new: However, we’re pleased to introduce both Callum Andrews and Anna Crasto who replace Jo and Felicity as accounts seniors, together with Jessica Moody who joins us as a bookkeeper.
Callum joined us in April from a similar sized practice in Northampton, bringing 9 years’ experience with him to the role. He’s AAT qualified and is currently studying ACCA too. He really has hit the ground running in the accounts team and already feels like part of the furniture!
Anna joined us this month from MHA MacIntrye Hudson where she was an Audit Senior. She has recently sat her final ACA exams, meaning that she should soon be ACA qualified. Anna was looking to move away from a pure audit role and, while she will assist our audit manager Kirsten on some audits, her main role at KRW will be preparing year end accounts and tax returns.
Jessica was previously an administrator at a company where her role included credit control and helping with management accounts, which she really enjoyed. This led her to study for the CIMA qualification in her own time. Keen to move into a finance role, Jessica joins us as a bookkeeper and she will assist with the ever-growing number of client bookkeeping jobs we look after.
We’re very lucky at KRW to have such a fantastic team of people, who are not only bright and technically strong, but also have great personalities and enjoy helping clients (not always a given in the accountancy world!). Our newbies are all great additions to the team.
Watch this space: We’ve also recruited a new Accounts Manager who is set to join the team in September, and help Alex and I with overseeing the growing accounts and bookkeeping team. We’ll introduce her properly in a future Bulletin…
